Severa 3, our latest product offering was released 6 weeks ago. A lot of effort was put into the creation and distribution behind the innovative way to manage projects, sales, customers and invoices. With over 70,000 lines of code, many marketing campaigns and thousands of sales demo later we are slightly shy of 2,000 user registrations from nearly 100 countries. This is an immense feat for us – and it gives us a warm fuzzy feeling when we get recognition from the media for this achievement. One such coverage was from Brian Sommers from ZD net. He recently interviewed me for his blog and wrote some interesting things about us. He writes:
When I asked Zaki what were Severa’s top three messages these days, he offered up these points:
- the Severa 3 product line was successfully launched
- the company has created a simplified view of professional services management
- for now, the company is promoting a ‘first user, free’ offer
What does this imply? It means that there is no excuse for any internal or client-facing service organization, of any size, not to have a robust PSA toolset.”
Brian got it right – companies need to be evaluating what tools they are using for managing projects and sales. And we provide such a tool with Severa. You can read more of Brian’s blog here.Another notable tidbit of interest was from Antti Vilpponen in the Nordic ArticStartup Blog. Antti writes:
I have to admit, looking at their website and statistics - they are doing very well. Severa was founded in 2004 and has grown a staggering 1304% over the last four years… I have to disclose, that this is not a paid blog post by Severa, but I seldom am this fascinated by management tools!
Antti is right about our phenomenal growth and you can read more of his blog here. And, I would also like to mention Meryl Evans post at Web Worker Daily about Severa. She writes:
Severa succeeds in standing out from the field with one-click access to common features.
You can read more from her blog here. She covers a lot about our functionally and feature set and it’s nice to see someone critique at the level she does. Speaking of such critiques, Steve Cotterell from Project Manager Today tried Severa 3 a few weeks ago. His piece is due out at the end of the month. I cant wait to read up from what he has to say. But for now, its clear that Severa 3 is in the market and its making some heads turn. That’s good news for us. And I would love to hear what the end users have to say. So if you have tried our product then please do give us feedback using our online forum here. We want to improve our interface, product offering and customer service.
